No one likes pimples and acne. They stand out and make you feel awkward and uncomfortable. There are all kinds of products you can buy, but you don’t really know if they work, and they can be rather costly. So how can you get rid of acne? Let me tell you just how to do that.
You need to understand that there are products in your home that you eat that will also clear up acne. What all these manufacturers of acne creams don’t tell you, is that they are using extracts and emulsions made from these simple foods to make their products. So instead of paying them, you can do it the old fashioned way.
One of the best ways is to use a mask. You can make a cucumber-based mask, a yeast and yogurt mask, an oatmeal mask, or a honey mask. All of these work. Mixing yogurt and yeast together will decrease the amount of oil you have and clean your face at the same time. Cucumber mixed with yogurt opens pores. Using honey will open your pores and pull out dirt and bacteria. Oatmeal does the same thing, while also moisturising your skin. When your done applying each of these masks, you simply wash them off with hot water, and then rinse your face with cold water. The cold water closes your pores and keeps dirt and oils from clogging your pores.
The previous masks are kept on for no more than 30 minutes, but there are some that should be kept on overnight. These include the lemon-egg mask and the Turmeric mask. The lemon-egg is boasted as the all-purpose acne-cleaner. Mix lemon juice with egg whites and apply to your face and you will see remarkable results each morning after you wash it off. The Turmeric mask is made with turmeric powder, sandalwood powder, and clarified butter. As you rub this into your skin it will actually remove oils, dirt, bacteria, and acne. Most of these ingredients you will find at spice markets.
If you are looking for a quick cleanser, simply crush three grapes in a bowl and rub the flesh over your skin. Rinse your face with water afterwards and you have an instant facial cleaner.
It is amazing what you can do with a few products you have in your home.
