If you are like me, you are finding more and more of your hair on the brush and around the shower drain than you are on your head. It gets less and less each day, and you wonder if there is anything you can do to improve the hair growth on your head. Well gentlemen, there are some things you can do to increase hair growth.

You need to understand that one of the most important parts of maintaining good hair is oil. I am not talking about oils you buy to slick back your hair. I am talking about the natural oils your body produces that protect and enrich your current hair, and promote hair growth in your skin. When you shampoo your hair each day, you remove those oils and replace them with detergents and soaps. This may keep you cleaner, but it will also make your hair less and less. If you wash your hair every day, change to every other day. On days you don’t wash your hair, rinse it with warm water first, and then with cold water. This reduces the amount of stress on your hair and promotes healthier hair.

It is a good idea to take vitamin supplements. Your hair needs Vitamin E in particular to promote hair growth. In fact, many of the most popular hair growth treatments are nothing more than oils and Vitamin E. You can save yourself a lot of money, and hopefully add some hair, by simply taking a supplement.

You also want to increase the amount of protein you eat each day. Proteins promotes scalp circulation, which is essential in hair growth. Eat lots of meats and nuts, as well as eggs. Reduce your saturated fat intake as well.

Lastly, consider wearing a hair mask at night. This will help to moisturize and stimulate your scalp to promote circulation as well. The mask should be made with honey and avocado. You can also add egg.

I am not saying this is going to guarantee you will grow hair, but it will give you a much better chance to do so.
