Clear skin

If you are a teenager or young adult, it seems like there is nothing worse than having pimples or acne. You feel like these blemishes stand out on your face like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer’s big red nose. You want to have clear skin, but don’t know how to do it. Here are some tips for you.

You need to understand, first of all, that dirty skin comes from a lot of toxins in your system. The number one way to remove all that is by drinking lots of water. You need to make sure that you drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day, every day. This will help to flush out those toxins and help to keep your skin clearer.

Make sure you get a good night’s sleep every night. This means 7-9 hours per night. Toxins are often removed from your body while you sleep. If you are not sleeping, you will have more toxins and more acne.

Make sure you wash your face daily. I am not talking about running water over your face as you wash your hair. I am talking about putting soap and water on your face, and cleaning your face thoroughly. For you ladies, make sure you remove all your make-up every day, so that your skin has a chance to be cleaned thoroughly.

Try not to pick at blackheads and pimples you get. This may seem like you are winning the battle, but when you squeeze on a pimple, you actually force the dirt and bacteria back into the pore, causing it to clog again.

Also, make sure you change your bedding regularly. Remember, while you sleep your body is removing toxins. These toxins wind up on your sheets, pillow case, and blankets. If you don’t wash them regularly, they will build up on your bedding, and get right back on your body.
