There is a television show that always leaves me laughing at the ridiculousness of people. It is called . In this show, women appear at the emergency room for some form of abdominal or vaginal pain, and when examined, the doctor realises that the woman is not only pregnant, but about to deliver the baby. To make sure you don’t become a star on this show, here are some early pregnancy symptoms to look for.
Fatigue – I am not taking simply about being tired. I am talking about unexplained exhaustion that seemed come out of nowhere.
Food Aversions – many women instantly become sickened by foods, even ones they enjoyed eating before. This is usually caused by increased levels of beta-hCG hormone.
Sensitivity to Smells – much like the aversion to foods, smells may cause some of the same types of sickening feelings.
Shortness of Breath – shortness of breath is quite common for many women who are pregnant. The further they go along in the pregnancy, the more difficult it becomes to catch their breath. If you feel shortness come on and over a month or two month period of time it steadily increases, you may be pregnant.
Nausea and Vomiting – morning sickness is one of the most common symptoms of early pregnancy. This is when a woman awakens and simply feels like she has to throw up. Nausea and vomiting are not limited to the morning time though, and if you have nausea for no explainable reason, you may need to get examined.
Breast Swelling and Tenderness – because the mammillary glands are preparing for you to deliver the baby, you may feel your breasts become swollen or tender, even early on in your pregnancy.
Physical Changes – you may notice some changes in your physical appearance, such as bloating, increased weight, and acne, just to name a few.
If you are having a few of these symptoms, it is time to go and get checked.
